About the AuthorThe author of this web site, William J. Learoyd, was born in Brockville, Ontario, in 1923 and grew up in Cayuga, south of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where his father was principal of the village high school. At the age of fourteen, he became interested to read the New Testament daily and, less than a year later, a challenge came to him to confess Christ, which led him to pass from death to life by believing (John 5:24). In 1942, he entered the Canadian army medical corps. In Germany, he saw the end of the war as a stretcher bearer in an infantry regiment and finally participated in the British Victory parade in Berlin. After the war, he obtained a B.A. at Toronto University, graduated from London Bible Institute, and served in a missionary, pastoral and teaching capacity with the Christian Brethren Church in the Province of Quebec until 1986. Wishing to radically revise the view of prophecy which he had been taught and to publicize the new synthesis of Scripture which had emerged from his continuous, consecutive teaching of the whole Bible, Bill persuaded his wife, Nadine, to move to Three Hills, where she had studied, and where a Bible Institute library was available.
